The next huge gig of the label GRECO-ROMAN is announced for this upcoming weekend, and Alexander Waldron (aka Full Nelson, one of the label owners of Greco-Roman) took some time for a mini interview on a short notice (thank you so much for the support!!) and is giving away guestlist spots for stylistberlin readers!

stylistberlin: Alex, long time no see, how have you been, what are you doing at the moment?
Alexander: Really good thanks... just recovered from the last party! And we are busy, we have lots of new singles coming up on the label, so right now we are just finishing off EPs from Joe 'Hot Chip' Goddard (a partner in the label), Hackman and our new signing Enchante who is playing on Saturday.
stylistberlin: The party with James Blake last month was a blast...
Alexander: Yeah, wasn't it?! Wow...
stylistberlin: You plan another party at Picknick Club this weekend, the header says "Azari & III DJ-Set", how was the collaboration generated? Tell us a bit about it.
Alexander: Simple - I am a fan, I saw them play a great DJ set in Miami in March so we asked them to play. Actually they kind of asked us to play the party but hey. Greco-Roman isn't tied to any genre, if it's good electronic party music then we welcome them.
stylistberlin: Salto Mortale is one of the DJs everyone loves & knows in Berlin, Irving Jr. is one of the promising newcomers, how did you decide on the line-up?
Alexander: Having a fun party is as much about the friends in the room as it is the music policy. In London we never advertise our parties and just do it word-of-mouth - it means you get the best, friendliest crowd. Everyone knows Oliver, he is a good friend and he plays some mad records. Irving Jr is our intern! So it's about family, basically.
stylistberlin: Who is the party aimed at? What do you expect from it? A "Dance in the dark?"
Alexander: We play all kinds of electronic music and the party is for everyone. I expect people dancing on the speakers like last time... and yes we turn off all the lights so the beautiful people dance in the dark!
stylistberlin: Any other comment?
Alexander: There ain't nothing wrong with a little bump n grind.
